Coronado Scribes Book Signing of “Coronado on My Mind”

On May 14, between the hours of 5 -7pm, Bay Books will be celebrating the release of The Coronado Scribes, wide-ranging collection of original poetry and prose called Coronado on My Mind . The book includes stories of love, laughs, and loss drawn from the authors’ life experiences in and of Coronado, California.

This 118-page panoply of poetry and prose offers insights in to the very special aspects of Coronado. Coronado on My Mind begins with a humorous look at some of our town’s bragging rights, explores a police emergency, the exceptional environment, and stories about love and family.

There are over twenty creative pieces within the pages of Coronado on My Mind, each with its own musings. Our goal is to communicate to the residents of Coronado and visitors, through this collection of poems and essays, the essence and the brilliance of our town.

Wine and treats will be served.

About Coronado Scribes: The Coronado Scribes, consist of both professional and amateur writers. We have in common a desire to learn, by sharing our efforts and listening to other writers. We hold pressure-less sessions every Wednesday, at the Coronado Library conference room, starting at 1:30. Often we have guests who wish to just listen. They are welcome, and so are you.
